Extreme Photo of the Week

Well, it seems that this Extreme Photo of the Week trumps that other surfing one. This brave adventurer is bodyboarding pipeline on the North Shore in Oahu Hawaii. I mean, just look at that wave! It's gigantic! If you wiped out on that wave, you probably would be under the water for quite some time. This unknown bodyboarder was the only person who took on this beast of a wave. "What is known is that the wave crashed-it shook the ground when it broke, and it broke directly on him," says Ray Collin, an accomplished surfing photographer, who took this pic.

Here we have yet another hardcore pic. This extreme climber is rock and ice climbing in Santaquin Canyon, Utah. The climber, Scott Adamson, is climbing along a new route called the Angel of Fear. Wait, what?? That wall that he is shimmying across is classified as a trail? Jeez, that's pretty crazy. I know I wouldn't have the guts do do that, like, ever. Hey, it just shows that people everywhere are willing to take on adventure wherever they go.

Now this is a pretty sweet picture. The hardcore surfer you see in this picture is surfing a monster wave on the North Shore, Oahu, Hawaii. This guy has some guts, I mean, c'mon, that wave is huge! The surfer says that, "this wave was the best ride of my life so far,". If it was up to me, I think that I'd be the guy lounging on the sand in this picture haha. That surfer is quite the adventurer!

Extreme Photo of the Week

National Geographic... It doesn't get much better than this haha. Well apparently this guy was Backcountry Snowboarding on Galena Summit, Sun Valley, Idaho. Heck I didn't even know Idaho had mountains. When I think Idaho, I think potatoes. It's bad, I know. But hey, it just comes to show that adventure is everywhere!
